Jon was a wonderful guy! I can't recall Jon without smiling about the fun he and I had in Mr. Hill's Earth & Space Science class. I truly got to know Jon through that class. We would have our own side conversations daily that actually were on-topic, but always seemed to get Mr. Hill's attention in the form of a stare. Jon & I also discussed many off-topic issues before & after class that always brought about a laugh.
The thing I admired most about Jon was his perpetually "up-beat" disposition and his immediate willingness to let others into his friendship... he was one of those guys you felt you knew from the second you met him. The world needs more people like Jon Kawecki. Thanks for the great memories, Jon. Rest in peace my friend!

Beloved Brother of Russellyn Earnheardt and Philip (Patricia) Kawecki. Dear Uncle of Jeffrey (Holly) Stackpoole, Andy Kawecki and Neil (Erin) Kawecki. Mr. Kawecki was a graduate of the University of Michigan and member of the U of M Alumni Association. He enjoyed photography, music, golf and gardening.
